Cajun chicken pasta

Cajun chicken pasta is easy and delicious. Cajun cooking combines Italian, Southern, and other influences. It's robust, backer yard cookery, just like this dish packed with Caribbean flavours.

I love pasta dishes and chicken dishes here are two of my favourite things to eat together, this dish is spicy and just hit the spot.


Ingredients


  • 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ¼ teaspoon dried basil

  • ¼ teaspoon lemon pepper

  • ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Jar of Pizza sauce with herb

  • Oliver oil tablespoon

  • Fresh basil


Instructions


  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add penne pasta and cook until al dente, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain. After you have put the chicken in the oven.

  2. Cut chicken breast into cubes. Place chicken and teaspoon of Cajun seasoning onion salt and garlic, salt, olive oil in a plastic bag. Shake to coat. Add chicken to a shallow baking tray and cook in the oven for 20min at 200c

  3. Put half a cup of pizza sauce teaspoon Cajun seasoning, onion, garlic salts olive oil in a saucepan on medium heat

  4. Add cooked penne, toss, and heat through and them the chicken.

  5. Serve up in shallow bowls and sprinkle with Parmesan and serve.
