Pineapple Punch

This punch has a tendency to be too sweet, so to avoid this you may need to dilute with water or milk, to taste. Also the dominant taste should be pineapple so on final tasting add some more pineapple juice if this key ingredient has been overpowered by the other ingredients.

Ingredients


  • 1 litre/13⁄4 pints pineapple juice

  • 1⁄2 cup/120 ml/4 fl oz sweetened condensed milk

  • 1⁄4 tsp cinnamon

  • 1⁄4 tsp nutmeg

  • 1⁄2 tsp vanilla essence (optional)

  • 1⁄2 tsp Caribbean Flavours Mixed Essence (optional) water/milk (to taste)

  • White Rum

  • Prosecco


Instructions


  1. Add the pineapple juice, condensed milk, cinnamon and nutmeg to a blender.

  2. Mix the ingredients.

  3. Pour the drink into a covered drink jug and top up rum and Prosecco

  4. Add the other optional ingredients to your taste.

  5. Taste. Dilute with water or soda water, as necessary, if the punch is too sweet.

  6. Place the punch in the refrigerator to chill.

  7. Serve chilled or over ice.
